The number one question during the first quarter of every year:  “What is wrong with my billing, my collections are down?”

Providers, the holidays are here, which means that the deductible season is upon us.  Therefore, be proactive and plan ahead. Keep in mind that for the first quarter of the year, and sometimes beyond, payments could be delayed three billing cycles, since secondary insurances and patients may have to pay the deductible.
